Billing for inventory work will be charged to the stock item’s service order. Be sure that you’ve specified a service order by setting the stock item’s Order setting.

You’ll also want to ensure that you’ve selected one or more stock actions for the billing item.

When you complete one of the selected stock actions on the stock item, the Service Charges window displays.

For example, a stock dispatch was performed on multiple stock items that are linked to a service order and billing item. The Service Charges window displays each batch’s billing by service order. After you’ve generated your charges, you can create invoices for them.
