If you’ve integrated vintrace with Xero, you can sync purchase orders from vintrace to Xero.
Be sure that you've also set up the asset and/or expense accounts in vintrace and linked to Xero from the client billing item, or from the stock category.
Syncing a purchase order raises an accounts payable invoice in Xero where you can manage its payment. Vendor information is also sent to Xero when the invoice is created eliminating the need for the vendor to pre-exist in Xero.
Purchase orders with a New status will be created in Xero as a Draft invoice. To ensure the invoice is created as an approved (i.e., awaiting payment) invoice in Xero, be sure that its status in vintrace is Approved.
To sync purchase orders with Xero, create a purchase order in vintrace and be sure to select the Sync to Xero checkbox.
Viewing the Purchase Order in Xero
To view the purchase order in Xero, click the View in Accounts link that’s on the purchase order.
