Sales orders and purchase orders both influence stock commitment levels. You’ll be able to see how much stock is available and how much of it is already committed through sales and purchase orders. This information enables you to make more informed ordering and bottling decisions.

Sales Orders

When you create a sales order, vintrace checks the quantity ordered with the quantity that’s available for the stock item. If you’re over-committing the stock item, vintrace will notify you with the ordered quantity and available quantity.

You can determine how much of a stock item is available by looking at the item’s Tasks tab.

You’ll also see the stock commitment and the amount available when you perform a stock dispatch.

Purchase Orders

Purchase orders also affect stock commitment levels. You can determine how much of a stock item has been ordered by looking at the item’s Tasks tab.
