Setting Up an Account

Accounts are used to manage your sales orders, purchase orders, and client billing. 

Setting Up an Account without Xero Configured

To set up an account without Xero configured:

1. Click  Set Up in the sidebar.
2. Click Accounts.
3. From the Accounts tile, click Configure.
4. Click New Ledger Account. The Account window displays. 

   

   The Account window displays. 
5. Specify the details for the account.
6. Click Save. 

Setting Up an Account with Xero configured

After you’ve integrated Xero with vintrace, you can link your accounts in vintrace to Xero.

1. Click  Set Up in the sidebar.
2. Click Accounts.
3. From the Accounts tile, click Configure.
4. Click New Ledger Account. The Account window displays. 

5. Specify the details for the account.
6. Click next to the Account Code.

7. Select a Type from the list to filter the Xero Accounts by this Type.

8. Select the Xero Account you want to use.
9. Click Save.
