By connecting vintrace to your Xero account, you can push Sales, Purchases, Refunds and Client Billing invoices out to Xero for invoicing or payment.
IMPORTANT: This connection is a one way connection - vintrace can push data to Xero but not the other way around.
IMPORTANT: No cost information (COGS) is pushed to Xero, only the end price of the good or service being sold/purchased/refunded.
To integrate vintrace with Xero, you'll need to have someone from your winery with access to Xero to log into vintrace to complete the following steps.
- Click
Set Up in the sidebar.
- Click Accounts.
- From the Accounts Integration tile, click Configure.
- From the Xero tile, click Connect.
- Enter your Xero email address and password.
- Click Log In.
- If the Xero organisation selected is the correct one for your winery, click Allow Access.
When vintrace is successfully connected to Xero, the Xero tile in vintrace displays Connected as: with the Xero organisation name below.
You can access the following options for Xero by clicking the in the Xero tile.
- Decimal precision settings (recommended to set to Two Decimal Precision)
- Link client billing items to account
- Open accounts setup
- Test connectivity
