Copying a Tank's Dip Chart

If you have a tank with a dip chart that you’d like to use for other tanks, you can copy the tank’s dip chart to a single tank, or copy it to multiple tanks.

Copying to a Single Tank

To copy a dip chart and apply it to a single tank:

1. Click Setup in the sidebar.
2. Click Vessels.
3. From the Tank tile, click Configure.
4. Search for and view the tank.
5. Click Edit/Import.

6. In the Or Copy Dips from Another Tank field, enter or search for the tank that you want to copy the dip chart from.

You’ll be asked to confirm that you want to copy the dip chart.

7. Click OK. The dip levels that you’ll be copying display.

8. Click OK.

Copying to Multiple Tanks

To copy a dip chart and apply it to multiple tanks:

1. Click More Options in the sidebar.
2. From the Tools tile, click Import Tank Dip Tables.
3. Specify the tanks by doing either of the following:

• If you’d like to search for the tanks, click Search. From the Search for Tanks window, use the filters to find the tanks. Select specific tanks by clicking on the row, or select all tanks listed, by clicking All. Click Use Selection.

• To paste or manually enter a list of tanks, click List. After entering the tanks, click OK.

4. In the Or Copy Dips from Another Tank field, enter or search for the tank that you want to copy the dip chart from.

You’ll be asked to confirm that you want to copy the dip chart.

5. If the tank specified is correct, click OK. The dip levels that you’ll be copying display.

6. Click Import.
