Analysis templates can save you time when you need to record metrics or request an analysis. When you add an analysis template, you pre-define the metrics that are included in the analysis. Some harvest/vintage operations also allows default templates to be assigned for quick access.
The analysis template can also be used to change the product state. If you’re using vintrace for costing, you can also track the cost amount for the analysis.
Creating an analysis template

Default Analysis Templates
You can also assign templates as the default for certain events surrounding vintage/harvest. Once a template is set as the default, it will pre-fill the template field on the relevant analysis operation, for example if you set a default for Fruit Intake, this template will be automatically added to your fruit intake process in the QA/Cost/Analysis tab.
You can set these defaults in Set up > General > Defaults
- Click
Set up
- Click General
- Click Defaults
- Select either the System (global), Winery (site specific) of User (single user) tab
- Locate the Analysis Templates section
- Select an appropriate Analysis Template from the drop down menu of the default(s) you wish to set
- Click Apply
Note that Fruit Sampling can only be set at System and Winery level
