vintrace allows users to temporarily put stock into a negative balance, enabling work to continue even if new stock hasn't been received into the system. This flexibility ensures that production processes aren't delayed by stock updates.
However, there is a new system policy available that allows wineries to disable the ability to put stock into a negative balance. When this policy is enabled, users will no longer be able to perform activities in vintrace that would result in negative stock balances. This ensures stricter control over inventory.
