General Availability

The updates in this section are generally available to all customers as long as the module in question is within the customer package / licensing scope.

Please note that Mobile App functions may not be immediately available to you as the Mobile release occurs only once the vintrace Web rollout is complete.

  • Fruit Intakes
    • Users can now select the winery that an unplanned arrival belongs to. Note that planned (scheduled) arrivals have the winery set via the booking record.
    • ‘Suspended Fruit Intake’ workflow is now available to select at a System and Winery level in system defaults, supporting pausing of an intake in progress to tare later.
  • Fruit and Freight Cost importer
  • Cost Console
    • The performance of the Cost Console has been updated - especially when selecting a second or subsequent page of cost events.
  • Tax Event Console (US only)
    • When reversed events are included on screen and the list is downloaded, reversed events are now indicated:

      • as a strike through in PDF download

      • with a new 'Reversed' column in CSV download

  • Vessels Page
    • When lab detail columns are included in the vessels page, and you use the filters on these columns, calculated values (shown with an *) are now included in those filtered results. This includes when using the 'Tested'/'Not tested' filter/
  • Block Assessments
    • Assessment/note attachments (photos, documents) uploaded via the App are now viewable on the Web. Click the ‘attachments’ tab on an Assessment to view attachments.

Improvements & Bug fixes

  • Tank Map
    • Fixed an issue where errors occasionally occurred when recording an operation for a tank directly from the tank map.
    • Bev AI assistant is now accessible from the Tank Map.
  • Reporting
    • To ensure faster downloads and prevent email delivery rejections, any stock report CSV larger than 10MB will now be automatically compressed into a ZIP file when emailed.
    • (US only) The "Inventory & Non-Tax Gains" and "Inventory & Non-Tax Losses" columns have been returned to the Tax Breakdown (702 Bulk Breakdown) report for all tax classes. These had been inadvertently removed in an earlier release.
    • (US only) Fixed an issue where non-grape juice material used in juice/concentrate production appeared on line 5 'Used in wine production' instead of line 6 'Used in juice or concentrate production' in Part IV of the TTB Report of Wine Premises Operations.
    • (US only) Fixed an issue where wine transferred between wineries and blended with a wine where the tax class bracket is different but still falls within the same tax class appeared on line 7 'Received in Bond' instead of line 6 'Produced by blending' of part I of the TTB Report of Wine Premises Operations.
      • e.g. a where a 'Not over 14%' wine from an in-transit tanker is transferred to a '14 to 16%' wine in the destination winery.
    • (US only) Fixed an issue where a Sparkling wine was tiraged, riddled, and then packaged in the same month. The packaged volume now appears in the 'BF' (Fermented in bottle) portion of line 13 instead of 'BP' (Fermented by bulk process) in Part I of the TTB Report of Wine Premises Operations.
  • Operations
    • Fixed an issue where an error occurred when attempting to add costs to a previously completed transfer job.
  • Bill of Materials 
    • Fixed an issue where the Bill of Materials (BOM) showed a later batch that remaining wine was blended into after a packaging job was completed. 
  • Laboratory
    • Resolved an issue with the Lab Console returning incorrect analysis task count and page count.
  • Inventory
    • /v6/stock API endpoint has been updated to include details for "Adjust stock" and "Move stock" endpoints.
    • Fixed an issue where the /v6/inventory API endpoint ignored pagination limits. It now successfully applies these restrictions to return only the requested number of records, improving performance.
    • Added missing validation for mandatory fields (like carrier and supplier) on the /v7/stock receival API. Missing fields will now return a clear validation error message instead of a generic server error.
  • General
    • Resolved an issue where typing a query in the top search bar and quickly hitting the 'Enter' key or magnifying glass sometimes failed to successfully transfer the text into the search modal.
    • Fixed multiple underlying issues to ensure that saved searches correctly filter and display only the searches explicitly assigned to your current winery.

 

vintrace Vineyard

  • Language selection
    • Users can now nominate their language of choice from Profile > Advanced > Settings.
    • English and Spanish are available for all users regardless of location.
    • Other languages are available dependent on your location.
      • NOTE: some Activity types are bound to a language by compliance requirements. In this case the broader application will display in the user’s language of choice while specific elements will retain the legally required labelling in the relevant language.
  • Various bug fixes and UX improvements
    • Selected/hidden table columns are now persistent across sessions.
    • When completed editing a page, you now stay on that page upon save.
    • Upon saving a task within a group while in Calendar view, the group will now stay open.

 

Features in pilot

Scalehouse

  • Users can now select the winery that individual weigh records belong to.
  • The ability to calculate the volume for an intake or dispatch has been introduced. This works by multiplying the net tons by a manually entered weigh factor, then clicking the calculator button. e.g.
