The updates in this section are generally available to all customers as long as the module in question is within the customer package / licensing scope.

Please note that Mobile App functions may not be immediately available to you as the Mobile release occurs only once the vintrace Web rollout is complete.

General Availability

  • Accessibility
    • The vintrace teal color used across the system has been updated to be AA compliant by default, improving readability and accessibility.
  • Products list API
    • The performance of the Products API has been improved significantly and should now prevent time outs in most scenarios.
  • Success/failure message formats

    • 'Toast' messages (so called as they pop up) have been standardised for new features so that they appear at the top right of the screen with a white background and black text. Success messages have a green tick and appear for 5 seconds, while error messages have a red exclamation mark and appear for 7 seconds, e.g.

  • Contracts Management
    • Updated Payment Details report
      • Three new columns have been added to the report, available for both contracted and received fruit: Installment number, Installment type and Installment %.
      • The report now generates in Excel format rather than CSV.

      • When generated 'on fruit received', the report now includes an additional Block details tab, with one row per fruit intake tied to the reported contract payments for the vintage year. This tab shows:

        Column Shows
        Contract Contract name
        Grower External ID The grower's external ID, from the Address Book
        Block Block the fruit intake came from
        Variety Variety received
        Docket Docket number for the fruit intake
        Nett tonnes / Net tons Nett weight for that intake
        Received Area Area harvested for that intake
        Base Price Price that has been set on the contract for that block
        Intake Price The price the fruit intake was actually costed at (often the same as the Base Price)
        Pricing Metric How the price is calculated for that intake (e.g. $/tn or $/area)
        Intake Base Cost Cost for the intake before any value rule adjustments
        Intake Total Cost Total cost of the fruit intake after all value rule adjustments have been applied
        One column per value rule A column for each value rule condition applied to the reported intakes (e.g. Quality A, MoG 3), showing the dollar adjustment for that intake
        • Note: an empty value rule cell means no value rule was applied, whereas a value of $0.00 means a value rule was applied but made no difference to the price.

Improvements & Bug fixes

  • Barrel Movement v7 API
    • Fixed an issue in multi winery databases where empty barrels could not be moved successfully via an API call.
  • Help links
    • Fixed four support Help links across the app that were returning 404 errors or redirecting to the support home page:
      • Tax rate components (info icon in the Tax Rate dialog) now opens 'Setting Up Sales Tax Rates'
      • Account cost method (info icon when configuring a ledger account) now opens 'Setting Up an Account'
      • Import Wizard 'Quick Start' link (on the final Congratulations panel) now opens the Getting Started section
      • Bulk Intake 'Import from Existing Record' info icon now opens 'Bulk Wine Intake'
